Re: Short Muzzle devices
In that case I highly recommend the Simple Threaded Devices muzzle attachment :

Re: Short Muzzle devices
Would you please be more specific as to what you're looking for? The item you mentioned in the first post is both a brake and has an aggressive front. Are those important to you, or is the length the primary trait you're looking for?

Re: My new carry gun
AWESOME. I really like that handguard, and as you noticed a firearm of that length doesn't benefit from an AFG or even a VFG.
Really dig the new bag, the wife made a good call.
I'd love to feature this on my blog, please let me know if I can email you some questions about it for an article.

Re: Loads for M80 pulls
Thanks! If you aren't in a huge hurry, save money for the blemish sales at Midsouth. I bought 150gr FMJ BT for less than the M80s.

Re: My new carry gun
Great looking build. I carried a Mini Draco SBR for a little over a year before building my 6.75" AR15 pistol in 300. The weight starts making a big difference, especially with a spare magazine. I far prefer the AK platform but the AR is just a little lighter. December marks my two year anniver...

Re: Loads for M80 pulls
In my experience it's better off waiting for deals on newly manufactured bullets. My M80 pulls varied in size and weight. I wound up setting my press for the safest length and burned through my 1000 as quickly as possible. Here are my blog posts about my experience : http://shortbarrelshepherd.com/?...

Re: MAS Defense
Range gun up to 300 yds, home defense in addition to my 5.56, maybe some hoghunting....general utility gun.....just for fun. I am not sure how the barrels will be at 300 yards. I have no information to say one way or the other. Most folks on my blog are shooting 150m or less. Distance in the defens...

Re: MAS Defense
Some of my readers have their 300 BLK barrels and they really like them. No complaints, and the ones I've seen in fight-focused training courses seem accurate enough for the type of intended purpose.

Re: SBR Transport Request Time - My Experience
Thanks for posting this -- it's one of the things I've yet to do. The expectation of it taking too long has kept me from trying, so your experience is informative.
