Re: Thunderbeast ultra 7 or Omega?
PV your grendel looks sweet. Sorry but I forgot to take a pic of the cyclone muzzle, ill try to get you one this evening. Over all I'm happy with the ultra 7. Thanks x2, that's the first AR I built & it's the bee's knees. Mega receiver set, Geissele NM trigger, WMD NiB BCG, AA bolt, Raptor hand...

Re: Thunderbeast ultra 7 or Omega?
I purchased the omega, i felt it would silence 5 and 6mm cartridges better. Plus the swappable mounting/end caps for 800$ seemed a no brainer. Time will tell I wanted to hunt with subsonic 300BLK, poor choice for an ethical kill. A suppressed 45-70 Govt sub with a soft 300-500g slug should do the j...

Re: Thunderbeast ultra 7 or Omega?
Ill try to get you a pic of the muzzle end of the cyclone PV. I do believe the cyclone has quiet a bit more back pressure than the ultra 7. Im going to try to shoot some more this evening to see how it does. I want to see how it sounds on my grendel as well. I'm surprised it has more back pressure ...

Re: Thunderbeast ultra 7 or Omega?
FWIW, The new Ultra series from TBAC are stupid quiet. Compared to their previous models, they are lighter and quieter. The Ultra 7 has about the same performance as the 9.5" TBAC 30P-1. I have a 30BAS, 30CB9 I just sold, and a 9" Ultra that I have yet to shoot. I'm looking fwd to compari...

Re: Thunderbeast ultra 7 or Omega?
Hey pink, how are you liking the ultra 7? I picked mine up last Saturday but haven't had time to really try it out. What I did shoot through it sounded a little louder than my cyclone. Or a different tone really. I did notice that the single shot subs I have loaded for my encore was still subsonic ...

Re: Bill Alexander bad mouthes 300 blackout to sell a sub line
99% of what he said in the video is spot on. He didn't rag on the cartridge at all. He just talked about what it couldn't do and what it can do very well. I would be super happy to have the chance to buy plated heavy long expanding .30 cal bullets from Rainier. Freaking awesome idea and I give Mr. ...

Re: Look What Is Back At WalMart!!!
My local "wally-world" has this ammo too. (lane county Oregon) It's good stuff. RE-member it's not made by Remington. It's made by Barns for Remington. Which is owned by Remington or Free-Drumb-arms doops. Bough to you by the people who ruined, Marlin, Remington and AAC just to name a few...
