Re: 300blackout problem bullet wont chamber properly

How new is the rifle? I had a similar issue after a new build. Re: Glad I purchased the Sheridan Gauge

I bought one with the cutout option and have absolutely no regret whatsoever. It's a high quality precision gauge that can be relied on to insure a rounds dimensional accuracy....

I already contacted Sheridan for their .223 Remington, 6.8 SPC Remington, and the .308 Winchester.....

Re: 130 GR Hornady SP with WIN 296

Winchester 296 is a great powder and particularly well suited for the 300 Blackout round. I use the same charge with Nosler's 125 grain ballistic tip....Nice shooting!

Re: Powder Shelf Life

I've reloaded with powder I've had on hand for about 25 years. It's been kept inside, dry, and at normal household temps and performs the way it did when purchased new. Additionally, I fired some .30-06 military ammo dated 42 and not one issue....

Thanks You All
WOW! .050 is a lot of material to remove from the face of any reloading die and suggests that Lee's quality control is out of control.

Re: resizing die trashing brass

I was looking closely at your expander button and the finish appears to be very rough, much more so than the button in my Redding dies. This could be the cause of the scrapping and flake you're seeing. Try polishing it with a fine compound available in most hardware stores or Lowe's and see if it im...
