Re: 300 Whisper 150gr CORBON Hunter JSP

Thanks for your response. That is about what I expected. Exiting a 16" barrel @ 1,900 fps they would definitely have to be used at close range to work as designed. One things for sure though, these should work well as a home defense round. :o

Remington 300 AAC Brass

Does Remington use 7 1/2 or 6 1/2 primers for their brass?

Re: Nosler Load data for the 125gr Accubond

Thanks Randy for the image. That is exactly what I was hoping for. The one funny thing I find on the page is that they have a load for both W296 and H110 and the powder charges are slightly different. W296 and H110 are supposed to be exactly the same. :? A person could go broke having to buy every l...

Nosler Load data for the 125gr Accubond

Looking for actual load data from the Nosler reloading book for this bullet. Also wondering if anyone here has had much experience hunting or gel tests with this bullet? According to the Hornady ballistics calc. this bullet should be good from 125(9")Yrds-200(16")Yrds depending on barrel l...

Re: 9" and Ammo Question...

Given that the Nosler 125gr BT bullet would be moving at about 2,050fps exiting a 9" barrel and the minimum velocity for proper expansion for this bullet is 1,900fps, it should still expand properly out to about 75 yrds. The Barnes 110gr Tac-TX on the other hand is designed for use in all black...
