Re: problem S&W M&P 15 300 blackout
I built my 300 Blackout, YHM lower receiver, Model "1" upper & barrel with PSA trigger group. I purchased 100 round of Remington 115gn 300 BLK, shot 60 zeroing in my rifle and have 40 rounds in stock. I have yet to be able to purchase any 300 ammo. I have started reloading and purchase...

Re: Accuracy with lighter bullets
What's your OAL of your bullet with the 110gr bullets.. I found them to be way to short. I purchased a box of Sierra 110 gr. but notice it was very short if I load them.. Holding on until I hear from others about feed issues in the magazine or if FTF in the AR for it being so short.

Re: 110gr Sierra Varminter HP
I purchased just ONE box of the Sierra 110 gr. .308 bullets, but it was way to short. Can you tell me what the OAL was of your 300 round when finished? Or did you guys mount the bullet way up high as possible? I have purchased Remington 115gr and they are normal 300 OAL, just wondering..

Re: Primer Question?
Gee, I'll trade you... I can't find any primer at all. I just found some 3 days ago, CCI 400. Now all my loading charts have CCI 400, WSR, Fed and Rem. 7 1/2 primers. CCI 400 will work fine, just make sure you load your primer slightly flush of the case. AR15 have a floating firing pin and will cont...

Re: Is this excessive safety checking?
I do the same, anytime you are dealing with a control explosion in front of your face, you are doing the job that everyone should be doing.. Funny you weight the finished bullet, I do also, it confirms the power was in the ballpark if all else are the same, Bullet, case, primer.. Then I run it throu...

Re-Loading 300 Blackout and tools...
I built two Die packs for reloading, 1) 300 AAC Blackout & 2) .223 AR15. I use a Wilson Headspace gauge to check then I leave it in the middle of the Die Pack so I can check the case at every die adjustment during setup and as soon as a finished round is ejected out the right, the headspace is u...

Re: Reloading 300 Blackout with a Lee LoadMaster...
Rjacobs, I was a little high on my mark.. I guess what I really mean is the savings went to the reloading equipment, which by the way have all been marked up a tad... CCI 400 now is $54 (I'm in Concord, California everything related to shooting is expensive here). Ordered 2,000 of Rem. primer 7 1/2 ...

Re: Reloading 300 Blackout with a Lee LoadMaster...
Thanks Bamabaxter, I think I fixed it now. I re-adjusted it to the Lee process, but instead of just touching the ram, I backed it out 1/2 turn, then did a test with a DUMMY round and adjusted the bullet seating screw down so OAL is 2.240. That OAL feeds well from my Magpul mags. I'd crush about 6 ro...
