Re: Etched/painted AAC Magazine
OP (if anyone cares at this point) - the AAC mag pictured is a test mag or 'sketchbook' where designs were tested for size/location/laser strength before running the "real" mags. looks cool. Cory has done some awesome mags with the laser.

Re: Sdn6 teeth worn down
There was a known problem with the heat treat on a small batch of mounts made a year or 2 ago... AAC will take care of you. The properly treated mount's teeth are very durable.

Re: Suppressed SBR - 8.5" or 9.5" ?
the difference between 8.5 and 9.5 won't be a big deal at all. Base it on what rail you want to run- The barrel should be 1" longer than the rail in order to clear it. ex- carbine rail (7"), you need a 8" barrel to clear the rail, Etc. I 2nd this. I am having to get a new shorter han...

ha, yes of course, many dead bodies.Ben B. wrote:...
I agree with your thoughts above, in that rifles are rifles and pistols are pistols.
300BLK needs a reliable, easily available and affordable expanding subsonic bullet. I've not messed with the expanding subs available.

Re: would the 220gr.sub,s be good for self defense
This is pathetic terminal performance compared to modern expanding hollow point pistol rounds. At close ranges, your HP-loaded pistol will have better effect on target than your 300BLK rifle loaded with 220 subs. Do you actually know this to be a fact? Only from gel tests in terms of wound cavity a...

Re: Trouble deciding on which barrel?
I have a Remington 700 SPS, .223. I am about to pull the trigger on an AAC Blackout replacement barrel, but cannot decide between the light and medium contour. Anyone have some insight? It's going to be more of a hunting rifle, so the lightweight seems to make more sense, though I dont want it so l...

Re: would the 220gr.sub,s be good for self defense
so are you saying that you consider the sub sonic round to not be a rifle round but a pistol round since it is sub sonic and there for you would not consider it .does that mean then you would not consider to use a handgun if your life was on the line. i have heard that the sub sonic round to be equ...

Re: Whats the cheapest can?
You're defending the lives of you and your family. Save the money on the garbage and put it towards the lawyer you hire to get your items back from the PD. Even if it takes a few years, you should be able to recover the firearm and suppressor with the help of a qualified lawyer. Also, if you're goi...
