this post was repied in another thread. i agee with everything you guys said. BOW HUNTING WITH A GUN!!!!! i recently bought into the 300blk fame. i bought a cva scout with 16 barrel. Started looking to buy cans and sounds of them. i bow hunt alot so the thought of almost silent hunting fit my bill....

Leather head bullets use the 240E that I designed. I have personally shot thousands of them without issue as have quite a few members here. I do not see it being a problem. Sorry I missed that they were coated coated bullets are fine for suppressants from everything I have read. My only question is will they feed in an AR I have had problems in the past with bullets that don't have points feeding in my AR

Will there be no fouling in my can from these bullets? Not worried about the bore too much. Mainly the can. I love to go out and plink but when I shoot I shoot a couple hundred rounds. Generally its a bad idea to shoot cast bullets through a can that cannot be taken apart and manually cleaned. unle...

That's how I do it but I don't tumble the loaded rounds. I use a spray on lube and it basically evaporates after a while.

^score!^ To the OP: if you develop a good lead load, it will leave almost no lead in your can. I have a Phantom also & shoot 165 grain 30-30 bullets through it with no visible buildup. Even then from sheer paranoia I gave it a soak in mineral spirits once. Almot nothing came out after probably ...

Hot glue that's a great idea, I have been shooting the 147's at 1800fps using H110 and yes they can and do start fires. Next batch I will definitely seal them up
