For these, I'd recommend the TSX for most. If for some reason the results are not acceptable, then try the GMX. If neither of those are acceptable, then I would go back and evaluate the base again.

Not to compare apples to oranges, but FWIW the TAP versions of them were in the upper 2100's for these in many 9"ish barrel samples. I don't know how these would compare to their "full boar" offering? Most of my feedback for the TAP are positive, but there is a preference towards the ...

For most of mine in this barrel length range, I ended up with T-1s, T-2s, and EoTech varieties. Some with possible magnifiers, 3X/ 4X/ 6X, depending on what I'm doing. Mostly yes, keeping the lands as distortion free as possible is a key part.

From my experience, cutting down and threading the barrels isn't impossible at at. The problems that can come up are how to face the crown clean with minimal displacement issues. I've found that certain abrasive methods have had better results than cutting tools for some. What's generically "me...

I've used both the 110 and 120 black tips, for what I'm doing, I'm staying with the 110's.
