Bullet / Baffle Clearance?

Post by ProdigalSun »

How much clearance should there be between the bullet and the hole in the baffle? 300 BLK.

Usually around .060 overbore so .030 on each side of the bullet. There is a drill size chart somewhere but I cannot find it atm.

Thanks. I got the Forms from the ATF directly, and will have the tax money next month, if all goes as planned. Should just make the deadline before the rule change.

if you're doing a form 1 - is there any reason you're NOT e-filing?

No, I was planning on it. Unless I have upload issues. The trust is 17 pages.

Thats great news. Im hoping to do both forms at the beginning of the month. Should have money by the 3rd, so July 4 seems appropriate. Does Efile work on holidays? Im not familliar with it because I just learned that a trust could file as well. I'll study up on how efile works tomorrow. And probably get confused, and come back with silly questions.

I know the .gov isnt a model of efficiency, but if the system is broken on a predictable weekly basis, then perhaps they should try to fix the problem. Or, do they get more gun control with a 4 day work week?
