I ran out of Trail Boss that's why I needed data for bullseye or unique for light bullets. But I got three bottles at the LGS and they had cases of it. Plus tons of other poweders. Powder stock must be coming back. They had tons of 22LR. Prices wore not bad either.

But please if you have data using bullseye, unique, red dot and light bullets please let's post it up.

208g AMax @ 2.260" oal, LC case, CCI 400, 6.0g American Select = 1037fps - 16" barrel

208g AMax @ 2.260" oal, LC case, CCI 400, 6.2g American Select = 1054fpr - 16" barrel

225g Hdy BTHP @ 2.220" oal, LC Case, CCI 400, 6.6g American Select = 1047fps - 16" barrel

It's been a couple years since I developed these loads so I no longer have the targets but the load was quiet

TightGroup will be very close to the N320 data, with in a tenth or two.

I have found that Unique and W231 also perform similarly for 150g+ single shot subsonic loads. Bullseye works better for lighter bullets.

Thanks for all the data guys! I have plenty of trail boss now but I still want to work on some loads using bullseye and unique with light bullets such as 90gn xtps and some 110gn so. I wonder if bullseye or unique is any quieter that trail boss? I'm excited to load up some and see.

So, with these ~5gn loads of Unique and such, are you using fillers to keep the powder against the flashhole?

Ive used Trailboss for light subs but its so case filling ive never worried about fillers. Whats the common practice with powders that fill less then 1/2 the case volume?

I havnt loaded any using bullseye or unique but I hope I can get by without using fillers. If I can't I won't do it. I'm thinking with the 110 gn bullets a starter load with unique would be 3.8gn. This is why I'd like to see some more data or what guys have tried that has worked. I love using the light bullets for sub's in the encore, they are fun and much cheaper. I'm just wondering if a faster powder is doable and more quiet than trail boss.

Farm use, I tried some unique for the heavies, like 200 plus. Quiet-yes, but velos were all over the place. I would think that if you were going to try it for 90 gr xtp's, you would have to drop the charge so much that filler would have to be used. Don't forget about Red Dot, I tried some of it with the heavies as well and it wasn't to bad. No chrony data on it, but I still have a pound and may get to playing with it after hunting season.
