This is shipping in September 2014. It is loaded in Barnes brass, using a Barnes 120 grain jacketed-lead OTM bullet, and is loaded for Remington UMC by Barnes in Utah.

MSRP looks about right...hoping to see it at Midsouth Shooters and Trading Place Pawn for ~$14 a box.
Only time will tell.

Thanks for posting this up, Mr. Silvers!!

From what I'm reading it's actually the Barnes 120gr ammo they were offering to LE repackaged as Remington UMC

Congratulations Robert. In many ways, this was more difficult than your earlier contributions to 300 Blk.

Yes, it is this bullet and brass, and stuffed into UMC boxes:

The brass is even head-stamped "Barnes."

OH HELL YEAH!!! WE HAVEN'T BEEN FORSAKEN AFTER ALL!!! WE ARE SAVED!!! SUCK IT ALL YOU '300 BLK IS DEAD' BUGGERS!!!

What is this round intended for? Is it a comparable to the Premier OTM with 125 smk, so it would be a precision round? Or is this a Barnes tsx type bullet but loaded in a more economical package?

Thanks RSilvers!

This is intended to be target / practice ammunition, though it is hard to not notice the premium features - so it seems like a bonus to get these components without the higher price typical of premium ammunition. It is not expanding, and not designed for hunting or self-defense. This is an OTM jacketed-lead bullet (like the 125 Match, except made by Barnes rather than Sierra) and not a copper TSX bullet. I hear it is very accurate.

That would be awesome if it is as accurate as the 125 OTM premier match. Much better price and for most of us, if our rifle likes it, will be a lot less than the 125 OTM PM.

With this below $20/20 rounds, is the 115 UMC for a few dollars less per box still being worked on or will this be it?

There will no longer be a 115. These are the replacement.
