8" 300 BLK, LO-PRO rail removal

Post by andyzx6r »

Hello,

Does anyone know how to removal the quad rail on the 8" 300 BLK, LO-PRO. I see there are 6 screws and it appears that you remove those and the rail will slide right off. Am I missing anything?

Correct. The handguard will come off after the six screws are removed.

Man those suckers must be machined tight. I have removed them and the rail will not budge. Guess I will try again this evening.

Use a plastic punch or plastic faced hammer and give it a few taps on the back of the rail.

Don't try to twist it until the pin at the top between the upper and rail is clear.

Thanks Todd! That did the trick a light tap with a rubber hammer on the rail allowed it to lightly be removed.
