2.220 for the Sierra and Federal GM205M primers. I will have to look in my book on the Lapua loads.
Yes, it is a 16" Noveske barreled AR.

Good info about Lil' Gun. I'll have to pick some up if I can't find W296. I've haven't checked this forum in a while so guess I better shut up and listen.

So far Lil-gun is my powder of choice. I can get the velocity I want without excessive pressure signs. I got 2305 fps with the Speer 125 gr TNT.

Went back to the range this evening with the chrono and the average was 2300 fps for the sierra OTM with 19.5 LG.
Shot two more nice five shot groups.

I tried W296(H1210) and LilGun with the Barnes 110 gr Black tip bullets

110 Barnes Black tip with LilGun:

19.5 gr = 2347fps No excessive pressure

110 gr Black tip with Win 296:

19.5 gr = 2384 fps (a little hot nothing crazy)
19.3 gr = 2335 fps (OK pressure)
Figure 19.4 might be the load but did not bother.

I felt the 296 was a tad to sensitive, and LilGun just felt better. If .2 gr causes that much of a pressure difference, and vel difference, I don't want to use it. It would be volumetric unfriendly.

The Lil Gun does not seem that edgy. Will do more testing, but feel I am good with my Micro7 16" barrel with 19.5 gr LilGun at 2347 fps.

The LilGun was not as effected by static cling and was easier to handle. Burned VERY clean.

LilGun has my vote for the Barnes 110 Black Tip bullets.

I loaded to 2.246" They fit in my Pmag w/o any problems. I have 20 loaded in a 20 shot P-Mag ready for my AR upper when it arrives.

I have seen a little vareations with my H110 loads and decided to try lilgun, Hodgdon lists 18.9 as a starting load with the 110 v-max so went with a load of 18.4 grains of lilgun a horady 110 vmax 2.100 oal, win srp. fired 1 round, I have been reloading for 35 years and that is the flatest fill the pocket primer I have ever seen
so 2nd round I dropped to 17.0 and now the primer looks good, a little flat with a small radius left on the edge, the only change I made on this load from the data was a 2.10 oal not 2.04 as listed, would oal make that much difference?
This gun has been perplexing as it seems even light loads are high pressure? I wish it would quite raining and snowing so I could use the chronograph

Didn't Mr. Silvers mention that he'd had some temperature sensitivity with Li'l Gun and recommends H-110 as a result? Or do I have that backwards?

I haven't gone back to look for it, but I remember some discussion and I've been wondering if the pressure change with temperature change is going to cause a significant point of impact change?

H110 was not liked by the Whisper community for its temp issues and vertical stringing.
