With a pistol gas port the Lil Gun will work fine. Probably will not work with carbine gas port. This load is clean, very accurate, and functions perfectly. Best part is that Lil Gun runs through my RCBS powder measure PERFECTLY - NO WEIGHING each charge!

Problem with LilGun is you cannot run it up to max pressure because it is unstable at certain temps. So you might as well use H110.

I do not need it to go to max pressure. I only use it for sub sonics. For sub sonic use only, and with a pistol gas port, it is perfect.

Yes, true.

However such a gun which would cycle with that is not very compatible with full power ammo. I know you know this, but just sayin' for new people.

Bringing this back to life. Are you still going to give out prizes for pics? Anyways, my brother and I went pig eradicating this past weekend. He was shooting a .223, and I had my 10" 300 BLK. We had taken several running shots at pigs from 100-150 yards earlier in the day, none of which hit their mark. After dark, we started walking a field that was so thick with wolfweed, you could only see about 10 feet into it. We walked a road which led to a small clearing with a windmill, trough, and pond. We could see dark shapes at the far side of the pond, so we crept up to the loud creaky windmill and rested against it. We made ready, I clicked my flashlight on. As soon as I did, the pig looked straight up at us from 40 yards. We briskly counted to 3 and shot. My 150 grain Sierra Pro-hunter left the muzzle at 1800 fps and shattered the front shoulder, destroyed lungs, and the part of it that I found was lodged under the skin on the far side. The pig ran 30 yards into the thick stuff, and it was interesting going in there after it with the other ones still in the area grunting and letting us know how pissed off they were. A fun night.

Only if the port is on the large side, which may mean that if you shoot full power ammo you will have a higher cyclic rate than M4 spec allows.
