anybody else invited to the party ? i'll have a 9" barrel from 82 airborne soon, I'm in Dallas too..

AAron , you could fly here , i pick you up and drive down to Austin ..

heck , I might even put my thermal on the blackout and get some real cool kills .. I can even put a recorder on the video output to witness the kills ... sorry my model doesn't have crosshair on the output video port..

here is what deer look like on it ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkPF9aZSGUY

Nice. What was your approx velocity, zero, holdover? Any reason you went with 130s rather than 110 TSXs?

The velocity out of the 16” barrel was 2200; I zeroed the gun at 100 yards and utilized the Nikon BDC reticle. The main reason I went with the 130gr is because it was the only one I had load data for.

You keep getting me fired up! That is awesome! We killed all the pigs I could find here, deer season is over, so Im stuck smoking coons off the feeder and opossum's...
I must say I would rather shoot a pig.

Then come up here and help us kill the yotes that are f*n all over the place. Its like doggie day care in the woods around sundown. They shadow the cows all day long.

As soon as I can get my grubby hands on some ammo for the sexy beast Aaron put together for me (pictured below), I'll see if my Dad wants help busting critters over at his orange grove.

AAC, any idea when more subsonic and supersonic will be available?

it apprears we have a mountain lion, roaming around my place.. my neighbor just called.. he just lost a cow.. the neck was chewed on... too much damage for just yotes or or bobcat ... wouldn't that make a good blackout kill!

I knew there were a reason we didn't see many fawns this year!
