AAC is having a hunting photo contest.
The rules are, you post photos here of your hunt. We decide winners when we want as often as we want. We send out prizes of whatever we want to winners. I assume our prizes will be good, as they usually are. Only post/submit photos that you own the copyright to. By submitting a photo you agree that AAC can use it for marketing purposes (it may be in an advertisement), and you agree that is ok. When you win we will want the original higher res photo than whatever you post.
You have to use a gun chambered in 300 AAC BLACKOUT (a chamber which is within 300 AAC BLACKOUT specs).
By the way, 300 AAC BLACKOUT compared to previous wildcats is a bit like comparing 5.56mm to 223. 300 AAC BLACKOUT has a longer throat than many of the wildcats which allows for higher performance ammo. So it is not necessarily safe to shoot 300 AAC BLACKOUT ammo in previous wildcat chamber as pressures may be increased. There is a simple solution - have a qualified gunsmith zip in a 300 AAC BLACKOUT reamer (without increasing the headspace). Pacific Tool and Gauge has both match (close to SAAMI minimum) and AR (more generous in size for more reliable feeding) reamers in 300 AAC BLACKOUT.

Is there a prize?
I think the contest could have waited a bit longer due to 300 BLK availability - my $.02

Yes, and it will be ongoing, not a one-time thing.dangerdan87 wrote:Is there a prize?

Figures. I killed a Boar with my SSK 300W about 10 years ago using 125 gr Nosler ballistic tips, H110, and I cant find the pics anywhere. (My house burned.. so I'm thinking they were there.)

First known deer with 300 AAC BLACKOUT, Nov 20th 2010, photo sent to me:
60 yard shot with Micro 7 in 300 Blackout. 140 lb 8-Point (dressed out) dropped in its tracks. Bullet went in a little high above shoulder and hit spine. 125 grain. Sierra GameKing bullet did not exit.
