^^^ That right there is why my .223 mags are FDE, my 300 BLK mags are black, and my subsonic mags are camo pattern to match that rifle. No one but me loads any of them to prevent that sort of thing from happening.
I realize you weren't the one who loaded the mag. Its a shame you were the victim of someone else's stupidity. I'm glad it wasn't any worse than it was.

Precisely. My mags are also marked but I also go as far as never having .223/5.56 and 300BLK out at the same time. I try to never even shoot them at the range on the same day. It's like having 20 gauge and 12 gauge in the same shotgun vest.

I've had trouble with magpul and roller mags. I just got a Lancer and so far it has run smooth as butter.
