What is total length and length of suppressor?

4.4” bbl + 8” can = 12.4”

Using a boring head to cut barrel pass through on micro piston block.

I was wondering about overall length of the whole pistol. Probably should have included collapsed and extended for to make better sense.

In an effort to try to cut out recoil I took the jp silent captured spring, cut the spring down by about 4”, removed the buffer and cut a new one out of acetal. Also got a lightened bolt. I will start with no gas and work my up to get it to cycle. We’ll see if it works....

Here is a pic of the blank on the upper for the mini piston project.

The bolt was riding over the rounds and I was having failures to load. Need to try again with the old bolt

Really cool project.

I wasn't much interested in the micro barrel thing, but this is neat. Especially on that SBR stock.

There are now a couple lowers with integrated folding mechanisms. One of those with a pistol brace on it would be really slick with a kit like this for backpacking/ car use too.

I tried 180 gr Speer jacketed soft points thinking that I could reduce the copper chunks coming through the gas port into the bolt vs. the plated bullets. Fouling in the bolt is less but I ended up with chunks of the jacket in the suppressor. Do I just have crappy bullets or is the short barrel/gas port causing the jacket to separate?
