Lots of working even making a simple video, but figured out what resin is strongest.

Very interesting.

Any idea how the tight inside tolerances hold, wondering about airflow, turbulence and accuracy?

Anyone use Reddit?

Some jerk needs a downvote. He doesn't understand this is legal and suggested people try to get me arrested:

Another guy who thinks he knows a lot because he once considered buying a suppressor was correcting me because I called it a "silencer." I explained to him that even a car muffler in the UK is called a "silencer." Hiram Maxim was British, and so him calling it a "silencer" translates to American English as "muffler." Since he invented, it he gets to name it. He named it a silencer, and so it is fine to use that term and does not mean you are inexperienced.

Very informative video, 3D printing one in metal should be around the corner...thanks Robert.

I stopped going to reddit years ago, I didn't care for its format.

Cool project Robert. Nevermind the idiots and the uninformed.

I have some experience in manufacturing, and meeting some of the sharp minds in the processes such as MIM. The future of laser printing metal parts

will take some the things learned in plastics to the next level. There are some hurdles to overcome, but the possibilities are pushing innovation. It won't

be long, the material necessary to create forms such as what Robert is working on, with the properties to meet the design criteria, can't be far from

reality. For now, the cost of building suppressors in titanium and other materials is affordable and very competitive.

Thanks Robert for the video of your efforts!

Neat. I bet you could save a lot of weight by press fitting a thin aluminum tube as a sleeve around the first chamber and threaded area for tension strenght. Perhaps heat it up and let it cool on.

I understand that wasn't the purpose of your project, but thinking about how to mature the technology into something overall better, combined manufacturing methods putting the best materials in the best places...
