Springfield SAINT 300 pistol.. issues

Just picked up a SAINT 300 pistol today, bought some ammo at the range and decided to put a few down range. No luck.

Bought two different types of ammo.. 147 gr supers and 220 gr subs. First tried the supers. Loaded the mag, chambered a round. The round wouldn’t fully chamber, leaving the bolt back a 1/4”. Locked up the charging handle and had to rubber mallet the charging handle back (bent pretty badly) to clear the round.

Switched ammo, chambered fine. But wouldn’t cycle properly. Fired, ejected, but did not load another round. Not worried as much with that, adjustment in gas block should work there.

My main concern is failure to load the other size ammo. Left scrapes in the tip of the bullet. No visible damage in the feed area or barrel. Charging handle is toast but I had a replacement ambi one ready.

Thoughts?

Armscor

Haven’t found much on them. But did find another thread where it sounded like someone was having a similar issue.

You mean it “deposited Brown crud throughout your upper and your lower” receivers?

Did you clean it before you took it to the range?
That slimy stuff on new guns is not a lubricant, it's a preservative.
