Ruger 5/8x24 brake for precision rifle.

I currently use a LANTAC on my Ruger American Ranch 300 AAC. Ran into a 5/8x24 brake used on the precision rifle for .30 cal for sale on Optics Planet. Does anyone have experience using this brake on a RARR in 300 AAC? I want to switch my LANTAC to my AR thats back east when I leave the Socialist Republic of California.
