Is anyone shooting the Speer bullets, mainly the match bullets in the 300?

Grain weight and manufacturer part number of the bullet/s you want to ask about might help

Thanks for keeping me straight, I did forget to list the bullets.
I am looking at the 125 gr TNT and the 168 gr HPBT bullets both mainly for hunting paper targets at 100 yards. Thank You Terry

125 gr TNT (#1986) are some of my favorites. Very consistent, I use them in my "accuracy" loads.

I have shot speer bullets in the past in the early 70's and they were good but you see most people shooting others these days. Speers seem to be the most economical bullet also. I am not looking for the smallest group as much as a fun gun to shoot at 50 to 100 yards.

Yep...perfect application...cheap, available in 500 packs...I load them to an OAL of 2.075...YMMV

Yeah I use those bullets for my practice round (use the 168gr lehigh ones for hunting) - they work pretty well, probably shot 150 of em or so and accuracy is decent, about 2-3 moa @100 from bench. they're on top of 5.5gr of w231 loaded to 2.2oal, ~1030fps from 16" barrel (bolt action). actually shot and killed a hog with this load who came strolling by my "range", fwiw.

I always liked Speer bullets. But frankly I stopped useing them because they so frequently up and discontinue a bullet... usually one I like allot!! SO I simply dont buy them for that reason...

I DO have a couple hundred 110g Spitzers. They have been shooting very well for me with MP300 powder at about 2400 fps.

I've used the 125 gr TNTs as subs in my bolt gun, and as supers in both the bolt and AR. They shoot nice and are cheap , especially when you buy them in larger quanties on sale.

The tnts have been my go to bulk load bullet since I first discovered them. At 15 cents a pop they're perfect for filling an ammo can.
