I still would rather have a subsonic bullet that penetrates over one designed to stop within a certain distance.

Subsonic bullets that are designed to expand at lower velocities can have their penetration limited when they hit bone. You want a bullet than can crush, and penetrate, bone and continue on to vitals instead of one that expands and gets,stopped by bone.

I am still confused why all these manufacturers are making subsonic ammunition using hunting bullets that are too light to be effective subsonic ammunition.
