I am contemplating a new build on a Spikes Crusader lower. I have been shopping around and pricing some different uppers. I have in the past used PSA complete uppers but I am thinking about going to a different upper - perhaps a Spikes or perhaps a Model 1 or other build - I want to put the Matrix Kryptek furniture for it. Carbine configuration M4 profile - in 5.56/223? Any uppers I should look at trying to keep the complete upper around $500.

It's going to be hard to beat a PSA Premium upper for under $500.
