Thompson Center Compass

Post by rlandry6 »

Does anyone have any experience with this rifle. I picked one up in .308 at Academy a little while back. I've never owned a TC, but between the rebate, the store credit, and Gift card, I only have around $200 in it, so if it turns out to not be a good shooter, I can always get my money out of it.

I have one in 6.5 creedmoor. It’s a nice rifle especially for the price. If they were the same price at a Ruger american, I would get the Ruger but for about $200 they are hard to beat. I can shoot MOA with mine. It seems to be getting a little better after it breaks in.

I bought one then decided I wanted to go with a 700 instead so this one lives unfired in the closet. I'll make a good deal on it to someone. I just couldn't get past the flimsy stock.
