That sucks. They just started importing compact take down models in .223 and .243 too. I was hoping for a take down 300BLK. Guess that ain't gonna happen.

While I don't have a CVA BLK takedown, I do have an HR in .38/357.

The beauty about the 38 special, is even +p bullets are subsonic. Which means, it's one quiet little puppy that packs a punch.

And I can load the 357 with enforcer powder and get about 1800 fps out of them.

Makes a heckuva brush gun for whitetail from the ground blind or tree stand in my neck of the woods.

If you are still looking, I sent you a PM. I have one I'm no longer using available.

I got a CVA Hunter in 44 Mag that is exactly what I was hoping for. I waited too long on the 300, though.

Looks like CVA has been reading their reviews. They've brought back the Hunter in 300 BLK, and it's a takedown model as well. It's a compact model (13" LOP) and stainless steel, too.

Here's the new catalog. Scroll down to page 8 for the Hunter:

Even better, they are actually in stock at a couple dealers. A quick search on "CVA CR4818S" is all you need. Best deal I saw was at Guns Midwest. Mine will be here this coming week.
