A factory built option similar to DS’s concept of the compact bolt pistol.
My LGS quoted $800. I would chop the barrel to 8”, and put a folding brace on it. I need to determine if the rear accepts standard AR buffer tubes. If so, I will buy it and report back.

I've watched/read at least a half dozen reviews of this pistol and not a single one answers that question.PNW17 wrote:I need to determine if the rear accepts standard AR buffer tubes.
If it does, it would make a sweet sub hunting rifle....ummm....I mean pistol-with-a-brace.

It's a bolt gun. Why would it have a buffer tube? That said, the photo doesn't show one

Based on the Remington site this appears to be the 700 S/A PRECISION CHASSIS (https://www.remington.com/shop/700-S-A- ... rd/p/19949) with the TAPCO PISTOL QD MOUNT (https://www.remington.com/shop/TAPCO-Pi ... nt/p/16204) installed. If this is the case you should be able to add any tube/stock combo you want.

Only to attach a brace or a stock. It's all the rage these days.rlandry6 wrote:It's a bolt gun. Why would it have a buffer tube? That said, the photo doesn't show one

DOH! Of course. I didn't snap to the fact that was the QD mount.jgillaspy wrote:Based on the Remington site this appears to be the 700 S/A PRECISION CHASSIS (https://www.remington.com/shop/700-S-A- ... rd/p/19949) with the TAPCO PISTOL QD MOUNT (https://www.remington.com/shop/TAPCO-Pi ... nt/p/16204) installed. Ok so it does have the back threaded for an AR buffer tube. I knew the collective brains would come up with the answer. Thanks. I will go order it at my LGS next week.

Looks like so much fun !
Law tactical FSA..............and a backpack...
As far as the threaded portion it appears to have a (possibly threaded round piece holding on a standardish AR rear plate)

Looks like it is definately threaded......that pict is a "different gun" but looks like just a longer barrel and a stock.
