That bottom picture looks weird. The front didn’t mushroom but the rear disintegrated. Am I seeing correctly?

I believe you are looking at the bullet backwards. What you're calling the front is the boat tail.

Yeah, was looking at it wrong. Thanks. BTW, midwest south and midway has more in stock, but probably not long. Ordered some more myself.

Any 100 yard accuracy tests?
One ragged hole! The quest for accuracy continues...

That seems like pretty good news for those of us with 10-in barrels; it looks like Hornady lists nearly the same mV from a 24-in barrel (though, some were questioning the barrel length).

I might have to get me some of that ammo :^)

Thanks!

Hope to get some done soon. I'll let you know when I do.

Went to Scheels today, one of the main managers in the firearms section told me that they are suposed to release this bullet as a projectile for reloading component sometime soon.

It would be nice to atleast see them by summer so any looking to hunt can do load develoment before deer season.

They had 5 or 6 boxes of the loaded stuff in stock around $25 a box, but a few other components took priority over the loaded ammo for me. Ill probably wait on the projectiles to come available.

Just thought id share the news i heard.

Hope that guy is correct. When I talked to Hornady in January, I asked when these bullets would be released along with the commercial ammo. Was told 2 years on the bullets for reloaders. Ammo was coming out shortly. I found a place selling the ammo for a little over $18 bucks a box. Midway was $22. I have 20 boxes for now. Sighted in at 50 yards and chrono’d. Real close what the box states.

Just now on Midway, ammo is in stock at $22.00+.
