Who is selling the Handi Rifle in 300 AAC Blackout?

Post by Contender44 »

I have done a fair amount of Googling and everybody seems to be out of stock. I want one of those little babies!
Thanks for any tips!

I believe they are no longer being manufactured. With that said you'll have to find a used one or go with something like the CVA hunter, which is the same type of rifle.

Steven is correct. Marlin bought H&R, Freedom Group bought Marlin. Killed H&R except for junk made in China and lowered Marlins quality.

I have both the CVA and H&R. The quality on the CVA is much better and has an adjustable trigger. They both shoot great but if I had to give up one it would be the H&R,even after doing a trigger job in it.

A few gun shops have vendors that still have a few available. They aren't available to the general public and run around $250.- or so. Mine is a tack driver with super and subsonic rounds.
225 ELD Hornady 1 MOA at 100 yds. silenced with the right powder load.
Same with super sonic (110 gr) at 100 yds. and 2 x 3" groups at 200 yds. holding 1 mildot high.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

p.s. I would post a pic but forgot how..........

CVA seems to have cut back the options in their lineup recently. And H&R is gone except for their website. So anything you find will be either used or New Old Stock. Not impossible, but certainly harder.

You might try posting a WTB on a few different forums.

Where are you located? There is a shop local to me that had 2 or 3 about a month back. I haven't looked recently.
