I'd post a picture of my Ruger RARR but after seeing yours it would be a meaningless post. Damn that's a sweet setup.
Nonsense! Please post away! The RARR is a darn fine rifle out of the box, and I always like a picture of someone's new toy!

And thanks a lot for the compliment! I'm pretty excited about it!

Yes. CA did all the work for me. Took them about 5 months from the time they received it from me.

Just picked this up yesterday.

Ruger American Ranch Rifle in .300BLK, obviously.
AAC 7.62 Flash Hider
Nikon ProStaff 3x9 40
Paracord sling.

My buddy had an AAC can that is lying around his shop, so he slapped it on to see how the rifle handled. And also to show me that I need a can.

I use my RARR as an ultralight hunting rifle... It is a very early production Compact model and weighs 6 lbs 7.4 oz as pictured, unloaded. I have reworked the trigger, removed the cheesy styrofoam block from the buttstock and filled with spray-in insulation foam (also used a small amount of insulation foam in the barrel channel of the forend to stiffen it without adding much weight), made a thin hard plastic butt plate to replace the tacky rubber factory one (further reduced LOP and doesn't "snag" my hunting jacket any more), removed the factory scope base and added Talley extra low ringmounts and a Leupold 2-7x SABR (which works beautifully with many 300 BLK loads), a Hornady Bolt Ball, a few spare magazines, and an Outdoor Connection web sling (weighs under 3oz with Brute swivels and is totally silent).

The rifle functions flawlessly and is more accurate than I am, so the only future upgrades I have planned are a Matthew's Fabrication cheek riser and possibly a Glades tactical bolt handle. The bolt ball works great, but due to the geometry of the factory handle it sits a little too close to the stock for my liking. Someday I also hope to have an Omega 9K to run on it, but a suppressor isn't in the budget right now.
