The GT 187's are particularly dirty and gassy Picked up some on discount, but no more. I will be interested to see hwo they cycle with my 8" CMMG barrel - just refit a DSA upper and other than having problems with FTE (maybe bolt?) it's a very good barrel.

The GTs are filthy. But they seem pretty accurate out of my 8" CMMG barrel and, at 50yds, almost exact same POI as my Lehigh 194 gr sub loads. So I put up with the fouling!

I don't think it is unburned powder. Maybe some type of filler for the low powder charge?

Hey, speaking of the 8.5, what weight buffer is recommended with the OE gas port? I did read that some were enlarging, but right now I'm trying to perfect Remmy supers through this setup with however this barrel was sent from the factory. With an H2 I was getting some random FTF. It was ejecting, but looked like the bolt was running over and not properly picking up rounds.
