I just submitted my second eform 1 (@ about 1:55est ) and I looked at the difference in the permit numbers and ID numbers. If they are given out consecutively, there have been 99,701 submissions between the one I just completed and the one I completed 5-17-16. That's according to the ID numbers, and there has been 76,597 permit numbers issued since 5-17-16.
I can see that causing a slight backlog.
Are eforms permit numbers and ID numbers given out consecutively?

I do not have any idea how to read the atf's numbers
When those totally ignorant of firearms make laws, you end up with totally ignorant firearm laws.

I just submitted 2 Form 1's. The second went significantly smoother than the first and the difference in application number was 30. That's 30 applications in ~5 minutes! Sucks being at the back of the line, but it's a good thing I'm patient.

My SBR Form 1 filed 6/3, I do not expect anything until Feb '17. Could be longer.

I filed one on 5-17 but screwed up, talked to the ATF they said I'm SOL. I had to start over so I filed a second on 7-2 then refiled the first on 7-5-16. An bets it will be back by this time next year?smustian wrote:My SBR Form 1 filed 6/3, I do not expect anything until Feb '17. Could be longer.
