Troy PAR pump action?

I'd get a couple barrel nuts from different manufacturers and try them to see if you can get a better alignment without a gazillion foot pounds of torque.

Thanks for the suggestion, it jogged my memory that I have at least one more barrel nut that I can try. Fingers crossed!

That did it! Torqued perfect alignment at 30ft/lbs. Tightened right up and it's altogether. Now its time for 240MK load development.

Yes, thank you! As you could surely tell, I had become very disappointed. Your idea pulled me through. I posted back here initially hoping someone would have an idea that'd get me back on track.

Where is the cheapest place to buy one of these uppers. I am really digging having a pump action in several calibers. 9mm will likely be the second, right after a 300 BO build.

I don't believe they are available yet, separately.

As a side note, in case you missed it, they'll only work on the troy PAR lower. The lower/upper's are specific to the PAR.

Nope I have not procured another PAR upper, I got a New Frontier Armory sidecharger upper for another AR build instead, LOL
