Optics - What are you using ?
What type of Optics are folks using - super only, sub only, super-sub combo ?

Redfield Revolution 2-7 on one, Aimpoint PRO on the other. The Redfield Revolution series are made in the Leupold plant and might even have Leupold glass in them.

Aimpoint Comp M4s on one and a Bushnell AR Optics1-4X24 on the other one. The one with the Aimpoint is my house gun and also has a suppressor on it.

Re: Optics - What are you using ?
I use an Eotech 512 on my 300blkout. I shoot supers to 300yards and mansized target and out to 100 yards with subs mostly.

Re: Optics - What are you using ?
I had an Aimpoint H-1 Micro but switched it off for an SWFA SS Classic 1-4x24 - similar to the Viper PST, different reticle and a little less expensive but still pretty nice quality. The Aimpoint is now on a 5.56mm rifle.
I love the Aimpoints but IMO if you're ever going to shoot at anything over 100 yards subsonics really need a mil-dot or moa marked reticle or marked turrets or something other than just trying to guesstimate 46" of holdover. For a 5.56mm the holdover is a lot more reasonable at any range at which I'm going to be shooting. The magnification is also nice even at 100 yards.

[quote="Overton-AR"]I have a couple 300BLK SBR's. One wears a Primary Arms ADS red dot. The other gets a Vortex Viper PST 1-4 scope.

How does the 24mm objective lens in the Vortex Viper PST 1-4 scope perform in low light conditions?
