All groups fired at 60 degrees, about 300 ft of elevation, not sure on humidity.

AAC Handi Rifle
16" 1 in 7 twist Barrel
180 gr HP with gas check and sized to .309"(RCBS #30-180-FN) Purchased from Western Bullet Co
5.2 grains of Unique
LC resized bras
1.86"
935 Avg fps with a Stdev of 9.7(from a 5 shot group)
Very consistent and quiet

AAC Handi Rifle
16" 1 in 7 twist Barrel
130 gr RN sized to .309"(Lyman #311410) Purchased from Western Bullet Co
4.9 grains of Unique
LC resized bras
1.83"
1088 Avg fps with a Stdev of 16.6 (from a 10 shot group)
One round went super sonic.

AAC Handi Rifle
16" 1 in 7 twist Barrel
130 gr RN sized to .309"(Lyman #311410) Purchased from Western Bullet Co
4.5 grains of Unique
LC resized bras
1.83"
1012 Avg fps with a Stdev of 29.8 (from a 10 shot group)
Seemed sensitive to powder position in the case. I tried to tip the rifle back to get the powder to the bottom before each shot

AAC Handi Rifle
16" 1 in 7 twist Barrel
130 gr RN sized to .309"(Lyman #311410) Purchased from Western Bullet Co
5.0 grains of Trail Boss
LC resized bras
1.83"
1057 fps Avg with Stdev of 12.4 (from a 10 shot group)
I liked this load a lot better than the ones I tried with Unique. It's what I'm going to load the rest of the 130 gr cast bullets I have with.

Edit: I will be reevaluating and updating this load as soon as possible. After shooting more of these cartridges over greater distances I realized they are very slightly supersonic. Conditions were high humidity, ~285 feet elevation, ~50 degrees Fahrenheit. I will ladder load the H110 down and report back. Until then this load is good to go and will likely be subsonic in certain conditions, but not as at quiet as it could be (or will be).

Hand loaded cartridge
145gr Missouri Bullet Company coated cast
10gr H110
COAL @ 1.9-1.95"
Winchester Small Rifle Primer
Formed Lake City recycled brass
Slight crimp

Shot from
Stoner rifle format custom pistol build;
8" Noveske Barrel, 1/7 twist, matched gas block and tube
M-16 profile bolt carrier group
H2 weight recoil buffer
SilencerCo Specwar 762 suppressor

Not chrono'd yet, but running consistently subsonic. Recoil thumps reasonably more than factory loaded Hornady 208gr Subsonic cartridges. Recovered projectiles had slightly mushrooms and deformed when shot into sand (personally I don't care to hunt game with subsonic ammo) these would create a MUCH larger wound channel than SMKs or A-Maxs, which do not deform at all.

ALL of the coating was completely gone from the recovered projectiles--for that reason I am a little concerned about barrel leading if I were to fire a large number of these. I ran some FMJs through the barrel after, followed by a bore snake, and have noticed no leading with 4 rounds fired.

I recently received some 220gr RN powdercoated bullets from Leatherhead and started to work up a load.

Chris from Leatherhead promptly returned a few emails providing me suggestions on COL (2.055 - 2.065) and potential loads for Lil'Gun.

I worked down from 8.2gr to 7.2gr of Lil'Gun and have settled on 7.6gr. I'm loading on a Dillon xl650 and have the powder drop set to 7.6gr (=/- 0.1gr).

Rifle: AR15 using a VLTOR A5 extension with A5H0 (3.8oz) buffer and FailZero AR-15 BCG
Barrel Maker, Contour, Gas Length/Port Size: Ballistic Advantage, Hanson Profile barrel with pistol gas and gas port size of 0.100 (opened up from factory 0.093)
Barrel Length and Twist: 8.3" 1:7inches
Magazine Brand/Size: Brownells 20rd USGI
Bullet Used (grain, manufacturer, type): 220gr Leatherhead RN powder coat
Powder Charge and Brand: Lil'Gun 7.6gr
Case Used: Converted LC brass
Primer Used: Sellier & Bellot SRP
COAL: 2.060
Chronograph Velocity (20 rds):
High = 1028
Low = 960
Avg = 989
ES = 68
SD = 17
Any issues or problems: Occasionally the last round will hold-open on the carrier not the bolt.

Remington Model 7
Factory barrel
16", 1:7, suppressed w/ TBAC 30P-1
Magazine N/A
NOE 247, coated, sized .309, nose sized 300, Alloy 2.1%Sb, 3.3%Sn, 0.5%Cu
7.0 gr. AA #9
Reformed LC brass, trimmed to 1.368"
CCI 400
COAL 2.205"
997 fps average, ~7 SD
Five round 1.5 MOA @100. Expands well with new NOE HP pin dimension. This size/OAL puts the driving band well into the throat and prevents powder coat shaving and fliers. .310 works well, too, with slightly increased velocity.

CVA Scout V2 Pistol
Factory barrel
11.5", 1:8, suppressed w/ TBAC 30P-1
Magazine N/A
NOE 247, coated, sized .3085", nose sized .301"
6.8 gr. VV N105
Reformed LC brass, trimmed to 1.368"
CCI 400
COAL 2.270"
NO CRIMP
1030 fps average, 5-shot ES avg. 12 fps
1/2" 5-shot groups @ 50 yards. (100 yard range is under construction)

The CVA has an odd barrel....bore is a hair over .301", but the throat is tight. Had to size bullets less than .309" to get them to enter into the throat.

In my opinion, N105 hits the sweet spot for cast with this barrel length. Peak pressure is just under 20K according to QuickLoad and all powder is burned in 5", so muzzle pressure is relatively low.
