Noveske 8.2" 300 Blackout OAL
Can someone please give me an OAL on the 8.2" 300BLK for my Form 1. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

My Form 1 was signed off, by the examiner, with the overall length box left blank. There are so many variations with the many different stocks you can put on, making the box meaningless for SBR specific paperwork. The issue with an SBR is the barrel length, and even that dimension can change, like mine did after I submitted the paperwork and ended up with a different length barrel by the time the stamp came.

Thanks, I'll send it in blank then.

My 8" Noveske build was approved with 23" as the OAL. Put 23.2" down and be safe.
Your examiner might not like a blank space- each one is different.

Alright, thanks guys. I'll go with the 23.2" as the length.

I think it's relavent to mention that a mistake is not the end of the world. I made a mistake on my form 1 and they sent it back to me. I marked out the mistake, added the correct description, initialed it, sent it back. I had it back approved a couple of weeks later. I originally signed and dated the Form 1 on May 7, 2012 and it was approved November 7, 2012, received a few days later. That is six months start to finish, just as I had been told to expect.

Delays you a few weeks. You get the envelope, figure it's the stamp, but it's the incomplete form for you to fix and mail off again. Better avoided.AR_Cowboy wrote:I think it's relavent to mention that a mistake is not the end of the world. I made a mistake on my form 1 and they sent it back to me.
