Called JP, they said mid May before they would have them again. Would like to know if they are worth the money though.

Re: JP silent captured spring
I built my own. I added a delrin slide so there is no metal to metal contact between the buffer and the tube.
Suppressed the difference is very noticeable. The gun just feels dead in the back end compared to the live ringing we are all used to.
I need to tweak the spring rate and buffer weight a bit for reliability as it cycled fine the first time I used it and then didn't cycle at all the next time out. All in all I think this system is the cats ass for a suppressed BLK.

Would you mind posting some pics and materials on this. Sounds like a good project.Suputin221 wrote:I built my own. I added a delrin slide so there is no metal to metal contact between the buffer and the tube.

The body is aluminum. The slide is steel and the plastic slide is delrin. The rubber buffer is a rubber stopper I found at Home Depot. Recoil spring is 1911.

Re: JP silent captured spring
I like it. I think a some of it might be replaced by Delrin (Acetal). Of course I guess Nylon, Polyethylene or UHMW could be used also.

Probably one of the best upgrades for the price. Very quiet and smooth.
