Feeding Issues

Post by eagle_ar »

I am having feeding issues with the 16" barrel and the carbine length gas tube using the Remington 220gr OTM unsuppressed? Brand new build.

I would try the following:

Carrier drag: Make sure the gas tube is not dragging on the carrier key?
Buffer weight: Try a lighter buffer and spring combination?
Clean: Make sure everything is nice and clean and lubed up. If you are using a thick grease, try a lighter oil?

We don't recommend subsonic without a silencer with our barrels, it is probably just short cycling.

Use a carbine buffer and standard spring and it should at least cycle. You may have a problem with the carrier, try a know functioning carrier.
