Ruger polymer Scout Rifle magazines in Badger or AICS?
Has anyone tried the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle polymer magazines in a rifle with Badger bottom metal or AICS chassis/rifle? Ruger indicates they don't recommend this but I would assume (dangerous thing to do typically) that they should work in other AI mag platforms. At about $25-$30 a piece they are considerably cheaper than the metal mag alternatives and not too risky of an investment but I would like to hear if anyone else has tried them out before I am the guinea pig. Maybe Magpul will come out with an AI mag at ShotShow and make this question moot, but I doubt they are going to.

Bumping again in hopes of finding someone that has tried one out. If not I guess I will bite the bullet and buy one!

I read that the polymer does not in bottom metal converted bolt guns. Snipershide post.
It apparently sits too low and the bolt sweeps over the round. That said, if both work in the scout, both should work in another gun. Check that post, if true, AI mags seem like the better choice.
Why Ruger wouldn't make sure the poly mag worked in all guns is beyond me!
