°MOA with my mount or not?
I've been looking at different rails for my Savage and some of them come with 0,20,25 °'s of MOA. Should I consider this for a gun that will prob never see 300yards?

I would get 20 or 25. Probably 20. I put 20 on the AAC Model-7 as standard.

I think 20 MOA would be a good mount. It will help you get that extra elevation when you shoot subsonic at longer range.

Ok 20° it is. That cleared up, what make would you guys use for the rail and rings ? I really want a fixed 4x scope and want it to be acid or laser etched with at least 3 drops. Any ideas?

I like Ken Farrell rings and mounts.... but that's because he is local, and I haven't paid retail.

I went with a Badger 20 MOA rail and Badger 34mm rings.

I only shoot subs... No moa rail needed at the ranges I intend to shoot. I went with a vortex viper 1.5 x 4 with the illuminated moa reticle, mounted in leu old 30mm qr rings and 2 piece weever bases. I am very happy with the combo for my intended use
