What does all the verbage in red mean? It sounds like you need an adjustable gas block.

It means don't use bullets that are light for subsonic. Part of the reason why you can shoot subsonic and supersonic at the same gas port setting is due to 220/225/230/240 grain bullets.
I tested 210 grain Sierras and they had significantly less cycle energy than the 220s. So I decided that 210 would be marginal for serious use, but probably ok for more casual use.

Any update on the Hogdon loads? or recommendation for starting loads for the 110gr VMAX using H110?

Hornady reloading manual. They have 300 Whisper data you can use.
