Post by dcsmith1 »

Just thought i would show my model 7 300 BLK. Still waiting on my cyclone. It shoots good after removing some of the barrel channel. So fo shooting 110 sierra's at 2200 fps with 17 gr of vv110 and a oal of 1.975 right at 1 moa. Sorry about the 3 shot group. Image

110 Sierras or V-MAX can go 2450 fps with H-110/W296 at about 55,000 psi in a 16 inch barrel. 300 AAC BLACKOUT chamber only, not 300-221, 300 Whisper(R), or 300 Fireball chambers. Remember, 300 AAC BLACKOUT compared to 300 Fireball is like comparing 5.56mm to 223 or 6.8 SPC-II to 6.8 - the throat is longer. Also for this reason, 300 AAC BLACKOUT velocity may only be 60 fps less than 7.62x40mm if both are loaded to the same 55,000 psi.

Rem brass, Rem primer.

The factory gun will be about the same thing.

It is nice to finally see people showing off their rifles. There are getting to be a lot.

Image Image Got my cyclone in this weekend. Shot a little in between the rain. Super quiet and pretty accurate.
