I just visited Leupold. They are into doing the cool stuff now and are no longer only into the hunting market. They won the M24E contract.

I had premier reticle do a custom reticle for my 510W using a ballistic table I provided, and it has been wonderful! Crosshairs at 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, then the custom turret is graduated 300-600 yds. Unfortunately they no longer do Leupolds, but my experience with this has me sold on custom reticles.

I am starting to like the leupold prismatic. It is small and cost effective.

Great, what are we looking at to be forthcoming from Leupold? Also, what is their estimated time to market?

The prismatic sounds good the more i think about it. Having the BDC reticule Is great, and the option for the Dial as well. That way you can have super and subsonic calibrated. Its also small and light.
Sounds like a good fit for the round

Ideally, I would want a fixed 1x with a BDC reticle of some sort with a large center dot for 50yds, then smaller dots for 100, 200, and 300 yards. I don't think I would want any magnification since I can see OK to 300 and I can't imagine shooting .300BLK farther than that.

Im thinking the same. I would want the 9" SBR as a HD weapon. But might want to hunt with it as well. 1x will suffice, but would want the reticle calibrated for either subs or super and the dial calibrated for the other.

Subs only need to go to 200, and I imagine that would be pushing it. Super to 300 is plenty
