Gun Trust Lawyers?

Silencershop.com has a pre formed one. Pay the $129 online, they send you instructions via email and basically fill in names that will be on trust. They send it back to you within a minute. Print the thing, take it to a notary, and bam! I have used mine for Form 1 efile SBR, and form 4 paper omega supressor. The trust is short and to the point and if it's good for a company like silencer shop and the ATF, well it's good enough for me.

With these guys, http://www.ncsilencer.com/ all you do fill out the pdf form that is emailed to you.
They do everything else, free of charge. You must however, be a resident of North Carolina.

I'm sure I've surfed these guys before. Unfortunately, you only get one chance to make a first impression...rpk47 wrote:https://www.guntrustlawyer.com/
This is the lawyer in FL who pretty much got the whole NFA specific trust thing going. It's who I got my trust from online, probably more expensive than most but it would be the gold standard in my opinion. He even lists lawyers in your area that can set up a trust if you want a face to face. I actually called the lawyer in my area and he chatted with me for free but I only had basic questions and he suggested I do the online one from that site because I didn't have anything special to set up.
Many people are concerned about the ability to change the terms of their trust after they die or the Trust it becomes irrevocable. Our Professional Gun Trust no comes with an ArmsGuard™ Protector that allows for the terms of you trust to change if laws change in the future.

I started the process with NC Silencer the 1st week in June and when I checked with them last week, they said my stamp should be here very soon.jjbradley99 wrote:How long is it taking to get the ATF to approve these days?
Hope they're right.
Re: Gun Trust Lawyers?
4 months and 2 weeks for approval plus 30 days for my dealer to receive the stamp

I'm in Houston, Texas. Anyone has a recommendation for a gun trust lawyer here?

Even though this thread is a bit older, your question about finding a reliable lawyer for NFA trusts is still relevant. It's crucial to work with someone knowledgeable in this area to ensure everything is handled correctly. While I can't provide specific recommendations for lawyers in VA, you might want to explore local legal directories or contact the state bar association for referrals.
