My latest Project, or at least the latest one to finish. This thing took me 2 year to get to this point.
I call it ST9P
9mm Pistol
Uses 9mm Glock Magazines
AR15 Fire control Group and firing pin, and extractor.
Uzi recoil Spring
Ar15 Firing Pin
Originally I tried using a double feed magazine, but could not get reliability. getting the feed ramp right was a real chore and I made 5 different ones before I gave up and reprofiled the magwell to accept Glock Mags. 100% feed since then.
Upper is aluminum 1.5x1.5 x.125 square tubing
Lower, magwell, front and rear trunnion were machined from aluminum blocks
Bolt was a grade 8, 1/2 inch bolt profiled somewhat like a AR15 bolt
Bolt Carrier was made from 1.25x1.25 square steel With some additional weight added to slow the bolt down. Initially it was really fast and slamming the rear trunnion hard.
Barrel was a blank from Numerichs that I chamber and threaded myself.

Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

The charging handle has to be attached with a screw. The whole in front of it was my first attempt. I figured out a way to use a non reciprocating charging handle with another project. i may implement it on here later.

I thought they banned you from Lowe’s and Home Depot?
And what do they call that color?
Waiting for the accuracy report.

Not really banned. I just have to be more particular about how I spread out my purchases. Plus most of the metal was bought online. Were I did not have to show ID or go thru an FFL .
The color is Detroit deisel alpine green 500 degree engine paint with ceramic.
Accuracy is actually pretty good.

I can't believe I forgot to put in the original post. The barrel was a blank that i reamed the chamber myself.
