What's your subsonic plinking bullet of choice

Post by brentwinkey »

I'm looking for a subsonic bullet for plinking/play. I'm currently using 200gr smk but my stock is about out. Curious what your guys bullet of choice is. Cast or jacket and what weights. Need to feed the newest ar build so the lowest cost per bullet is key. Thanks Brent

ACME 245 or 265 DS special cast, Hi Tec coated. I've had better luck with the 245 in my AR.

I've been using Nosler 210gr RDF's when Shooter's Pro Shop offers them blemished, around a quarter apiece.

Do you have any load data for a 9in sbr i have the same 220 gn berry. And using lil gun. My last trip to the range was a head scratcher. I couldnt get my deviation under 3 digits.
Come and take it!

150gr FMJ work well and are fairly cheap. They should be easy to find as well.
