Zero Targets for 25 yard range

Post by palatablekali »

Hi all,

For 5.56, there are quite a few targets floating about that allow you to achieve a 50/100, etc. zero on a 25 yard/meter range (ex, http://www.arma-dynamics.com/red-dot-zero-targets.html, https://www.vigilanceelite.com/blogs/vi ... -yard-zero).

Is there anything comparable for 300 blackout? I'm looking into a 9" AR platform 300 BLK and plan to zero with supers, and it seems like the 50m zero is probably what I want. Until I can get to an outdoor range, something like this would be quite handy.

Assuming a typical 2.5" sight height: Draw a 2" circle. Aim at the center, and you'll be zeroed at 50 when your bullets are hitting the bottom edge. (1" low). For a 2" sight height, use a 1.5" circle. Of course these are approximations, but will be close with any 300 BLK super.

For subs, again assuming a 2.5: sight height, a 25 yard zero will put you pretty darned close at 50.
