Yes, mostly...Heard great things, their SOCOM powder is the BOMB for 458. It is one of the best metering powders I've ever dealt with, and gives great results. 300-MP is hard to beat for 300blk, but also works great for 458s. The Shooters World powder is just as consistent and meters better.

Re: Shooters World Socom?
Thanks.
The SW reloading guide claims it's also great for 150's in the BLK. Thought I'd give it try just for grins.

Yep...appears there is very little difference in SW Socom and SW BLK
Re: Shooters World Socom?

Re: Shooters World Socom?
I picked up 2 pounds of SW Socom and loaded a few with 150GD's. Now with the time change, I wont be able to shoot them til the weekend.
Re: Shooters World Socom?
I think Plant one has used it a fair amount, It’s just a bit different than Blackout, maybe a bit faster. The burn rate charts are misleading, but I did not spend enough time with it to form an opinion.
SW Blackout is Lovex DO63-02
Socom is Lovex DO63-01
It did come highly recommended from The folks at Shooters World and I got the impression it was used more by manufacturers.

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

Re: Shooters World Socom?
yup, thats the stuff i have do-63.1. i've got... 5 or 6 lbs left at this point but my local source had gone away so i was gonna have to switch to the .2 "blackout" when that ran out.
load it with 1680 data, its just a touch faster/denser, and way freaking cleaner. roughly speaking i'm down a couple tenths of a grain for 208gr subs to match 1680 velocity in the blackout.
nice to know i can keep on keepin on by ordering it this way.
i wanna try it one of these days in my 450 bushmaster under 300gr bullets... i bet it'd shine in there with those heavies.
