Rail question.

This question may have been answered previously, if so, I apologize. I'm planning on getting one of Delta Company's 9" SS bbls. Can I put a carbine length rail on it and still be able to mount a can? I'm looking at the YHM lightweight carbine quad rail. I believe the handguard is 7", so in theory I should have around 2" of bbl out past the rail correct? Thanks for any information.

You should be just fine.

I think the i.d. Of that handguard is 1.75" so you could put a rifle length on depending on the can.

Well part of the barrel actually goes back into the upper, then youve got the length of threads on the muzzle, so you will have more like an inch between the muzzle and end of the rail. It should work wonderfully, sir!
