NOE 311299

Post by skeet1 »

Hi Guys,
I have worked up a load in my 16" barrel using the NOE 311299 and 14 Gr. of IMR 4198. Most loading data I have found only shows loads for sub-sonic and since I don't have a suppressor I'm not interested in them.

The load of IMR 4198 just about fills the case to the base of the bullet that is seated to about 1/32nd of the front driving band still showing. Accuracy is very acceptable. This load seams to show mild pressure and functions flawlessly.

What I am hoping is that someone might tell me is about what FPS I am getting.

Seeing as this question has tons of views and no answers, I'll just go ahead and say what I'm sure most of us are thinking: No one can tell you exactly what velocity you're getting with YOUR load in YOUR gun. You need a chronograph. They're not exactly prohibitively expensive these days: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/626107 ... hronograph
